When it comes to love I don't really have much to say about it although I'm married, and have a daughter, I don't really love genuinely. I am crazy rich and get drunk all the time, so I really don't care about anything else other than money. For example, my daughter, Juliet, is young and fair but she shall be married to one of the richest princes in Verona, Paris. It's business dawg.
For starters this is good, and gives us a perpective of how lord capulet feels about love, its very similiar to lady capulets! You should talk about why it's business and why it's important that juliet get married to paris; would you be mad if she didn't also, don't forget the perspective of him wanting to sleep with younger women.
ReplyDeleteIf all he really cares about is money, why did he marry Lady Capulet in the first place, she seems to spend a lot of his money.
ReplyDeleteSo Lord Capulet's love is all about money. he just think about him self. what a man!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your post. You covered the key points (that all he cares about is money) but I agree with Erlynn. Try to explain why Juliet marrying Paris is so important. :)
ReplyDeleteRyan you have the basics… but things in life are complicated. "LOVE" is not just sex… you can love your family, daughter, friends… so how does Capulet balance out his needs? Where does her place each person in relation to values? Which relationships does he see as most important? What does he see as his own role in maintaining the "relations"?

ReplyDeleteI also agree with Erlynn. Good start, and i like how you explain that a lot of it is for business.
ReplyDeleteIf he only think abut money why he said to Paris to wait for two years to marry Juliet.
ReplyDeleteI think there is more to what she thinks about love. Yeah she likes to party and drink but I think she also does love her family just in a different way.
ReplyDeleteI like how you started the post, but you didn't go in depth to show how Lord Capulet felt about love. Also Paris isn't a prince he's a Count. Besides all that I liked how you showed money meant everything to him. Good concept
